Kit Lockers
Members may purchase kit locker services with their annual membership or through the bank/credit card draft option. Each locker is equipped with a combination lock. Kit lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two options are available:
Full Service Kit ~
Member may keep personal items in the locker. Service includes laundry service and towel with locker. $240 per Year or $20 per Month.
Kit Space ~
Use of a locker only for personal items. $120 per Year or $10 per Month.
Financial Assistance
Sewickley Valley YMCA does not turn anyone away for an inability to pay. We provide financial assistance to youth, families and individuals who do not have the resources to pay the full membership or program fee.
Scholarships
Scholarships are provided for qualifying applicants with our means. The YMCA Scholarship Program is supported by Caring and Sharing – The YMCA Scholarship Campaign. To apply for financial assistance, visit or call the YMCA for a confidential application, or click here Financial Assistance.

UPMC for Life
We are pleased to participate in the UPMC for Life health insurance benefit program. Through the UPMC for Life program Medicare eligible participants in the UPMC for Life HMO or PPO programs are eligible for membership at the Sewickley Valley YMCA at no cost to the participant. The Sewickley Valley YMCA provides many programs geared toward the Older Adult. These programs including aquatics, aerobics, and social activities, are FREE to members. Please stop in the Membership Office to start your healthier lifestyle today!
Employee Wellness Program
The Sewickley Valley YMCA is now offering programs to businesses and employee groups interested in improving overall employee health. Our program incentives can help you realize reduced absenteeism and health care savings. Your staff will enjoy improved overall health. Programs may include free health screenings, on site exercises programs, and Employee Wellness Weeks at the Y. Member Guest Policy
The Sewickley Valley YMCA welcomes guests of our members for an enjoyable day at the Y. Non-members (with the exception of A.W.A.Y. members) may visit the Y when accompanied by a member and may visit no more that three (3) times per year. A member may bring no more than two (2) guests per visit. All guests must register at the Registration Desk. For security reasons and the safety of all members, all adult guests (ages 18 and over) must present a photo ID. No exceptions.
The Sewickley Valley YMCA reserves the right to limit guests during periods of high usage and times when the addition of non-members could hinder the experience of our members.

FREE Guest Passes
Each membership is entitled to four (4) free passes per year. FREE passes may only be obtained during the hours the Membership Office is open.
A.W.A.Y. Members - Always Welcome At the YMCA
Your membership card has been marked with the AWAY emblem. This enables you to utilize YMCAs across the country when traveling for business or pleasure. Members are encouraged to contact the YMCAs they are interested in visiting in advance to determine the policy for each YMCA. You may find YMCA addresses by stopping by the Membership Office or by visiting www.ymca.net.
Visiting AWAY Members are welcome at the Sewickley Valley YMCA when they present their valid YMCA membership card and photo ID. The first three (3) visits per year are FREE and thereafter AWAY members will be charged at the appropriate daily Member Guest Fee.
Members of the Beaver County YMCA and the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh are welcome to use their AWAY privileges at the Sewickley Valley YMCA.

Payment Options
With three convenient payment options, it is now easier than ever to belong to the YMCA!
1) Choose to have a monthly bank account draft. Your monthly fee will be deducted from your checking or savings account.*
2) Choose to have a monthly credit card draft. Your monthly fee will be charged to your credit card.*
3) Choose to pay your annual membership with cash, check or credit card. We'll notify you in advance of your annual renewal date. Annual rates are calculated at 12 times the monthly draft fee.

CANCELLATION OF BANK DRAFT OR CREDIT CARD OPTION...
Members using the bank draft or credit card option who wish to stop their membership, change account numbers or change membership options are required to notify the Membership Office 30 days prior to their draft date. Notifications must have the signature of the person responsible for the draft, and are accepted in person, by mail or fax.
A $20.00 Administrative Fee will be charged for:
- A draft returned due to non-sufficient funds
- A draft deactivated prior to the third draft
- A draft returned due to expired credit card account
The member is responsible for verifying all drafts. Errors must be brought to the attention of the Membership Office Manager. The YMCA WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DRAFT ERRORS BEYOND 30 DAYS.
Joining Fee
The Joining Fee is charged to new members and returning members who have not been active members for 90 days. The Joining fee is a non-refundable fee.
