Before & After School Care

Mission

Our child care mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment, reaching out to all children and families in the Quaker Valley, Moon, Cornell, and Ambridge Area school districts. Each child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth will be enhanced through collaborative family and community efforts and developmentally appropriate programming. Such programs reinforce the YMCA character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

School Age Child Care

All Sewickley Valley YMCA School Age Child Care programs are licensed by the Department of Public Welfare and ensures that the time before and after school is occupied creatively and constructively.

After School

Children first to fifth grade will have the opportunity to swim in the Warm Water Pool, play games, and partake in other physical activities in the Large Gym at the Y from 3:30-6:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Ambridge Area School District
