Child Care Teachers Needed

  • No Weekends!  No Evenings!  No Holidays!
  • Infants:  Mon-Fri  12 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Qualifications:  BS or Associates in Early Childhood preferred,  CDA acceptable, and 2 years experience working with children
  • Salary:  $9-$11 per hour based on education and experience

Part-time Housekeeping

  • $8hr
  • Evening housekeeping, approx. 25 hours per week, weekend availability required.  Experience a plus!
  • Responsibilities:
    • Cleaning and mop all assigned rooms, hallways, and restrooms
    • Clean and dust all overhead areas and equipment
    • Remove all trash from inside and outside of the building each night

Part-time Lifeguard

  • $7.25/hr
  • Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas.  Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety, and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Minimum age – 16 years
  • Certifications – CPR for the Professional Rescuer, basic First Aid, current YMCA Lifeguard or American Red Cross, Oxygen Administration (required within 30 days of hire), ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness. Must demonstrate Lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA Standards
  • Hours:  Tuesday 4-8 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday 6-10 p.m., Friday 5-10 p.m.

Part-time Aquatic Instructors

  • $7.25/hr
  • The Y is a leading non-profit for strengthening community, and the nation’s longest provider of swim lessons to increase skill and safety in and around water.  This position provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes.
  • Minimum age – 16 years
  • Certifications – CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid
  • Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA Standards
  • YMCA Swim Instructor certification or equivalent
  • Saturdays 9am-12pm; Tuesdays/ Thursdays evenings

Part-time After School Teachers Needed

  • $9-$11 per hour based on education and experience
  • No Weekends!  No Evenings!  No Holidays!
  • Moon, Ambridge, and Quaker Valley School Districts
  • Hours:  2:30-6:30 p.m. – Monday – Fridays – through the school year
  • Minimum requirements:  Age 18, High School Diploma and 3 years experience working with children 

Part-time Wellness Coach

  • $8/hr
  • The incumbent will work with members in our YMCA and wellness center with their fitness programs and assisting with meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Qualifications:  Out-going personality, good verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, being a team player.  Fitness background a plus, but not required.
  • Hours:
    • Monday through Friday – Days and Evenings
    • Saturday – Mornings and Afternoons
    • Sunday – Afternoons

Part-time Substitute After School Teachers

  • $9-$10 per hour based on education and qualifications
  • Ambridge, Moon, and Quaker Valley School Districts
  • Hours:  6:30-10:30am and 2:30-6:30pm Monday-Friday
  • Minimum of High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years working with children
