PLAY. LAUGH. LEARN.
Child Care & Educational Development Mission
To provide a safe and nurturing environment, reaching out to all children and families in the Sewickley Valley YMCA service area. Each child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth will be enhanced through collaborative family, community efforts and developmentally appropriate programming reinforcing the YMCA character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
The Y strives to meet your child’s individual needs by ensuring enthusiasm and excitement for learning and positive attention. At the Sewickley YMCA, we utilize an age-appropriate curriculum with a focus on S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math). Our childcare staff partner with parents to ensure every child has the best possible experience. Together we can provide a safe and enriching space for your child to grow and thrive. Our childcare programs are licensed through the state Department of Human Services, and we participate in the Keystone S.T.A.R.S. quality enhancement program. We accept CCIS funding and offer financial assistance to families that qualify.
