The Sewickley Valley YMCA offers classes for all ages, all levels, and all interests. From low-impact exercise and stretching to indoor cycling, water exercise, and yoga, you’ll find a group class that’s fun, supportive and keeps you moving.
Adult sports leagues and pick-up games provide a perfect opportunity to be active, social and to reconnect or start fresh with a game you love. Basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, pickleball and paddle tennis are available to get you back on the court or the field.
Arthritis Aquatic Group Exercise
Arthritis group exercise encourages people of all ages to use the buoyant qualities of water to enhance their physical fitness through exercise classes in our Warm Water Pool. Classes such as Twinges in the Hinges and Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program are an ideal form of exercise for all ages and increases physical strength and endurance without putting stress and strain on joints, as in land-based exercise. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike can take part in this type of exercise to reduce emotional stress and tension, improve health, and encourage and improve feelings of well-being and self-esteem.
Aquatic Group Exercise
Adults find that aqua aerobics provide motivation, improved cardiovascular endurance and muscle tone by using the buoyancy and resistance of the water. The benefits extend far beyond wellness with newly formed friendships and supportive, caring staff. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike can take part in this type of exercise to reduce emotional stress and tension, improve health, and encourage and improve feelings of well-being and self-esteem.

Indoor studio cycling offers a high-intensity workout with low-impact on your body. Chase the pack, spin the flats, climb mountains and sprint to the finish.
