NURTURE THE POTENTIAL OF EVERY CHILD
We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. At Sewickley Valley YMCA, we work to instill positive values, develop skills and relationships and build a foundation for youth to succeed.
Child Watch is a fun and safe place for children ages 2 months -7 years to enjoy while you participate in other activities at the Y. Child Watch is free with your family Y membership. Parents and guardians can utilize our Child Watch service for up to three hours while they are participating in a Y class, activity or working out in the Y. Our caring staff uses age-appropriate activities and positive guidance for children ages 2 months to 7 years. For the safety of your child, parents must remain in the facility and photo identification must be left with staff. For more information contact Karli Babylon-Murray, at 412-741-9622 ext. 122. Registration is not required.

The Y has always been a place where families can play and be active together, and that’s more important than ever. Whether the activities are physical like sports or exercise classes, or more recreational like swimming and arts, we want families doing them together because you’ll live healthier and make memories for a lifetime.
Martial Arts combines elements of a multiple of disciplines in the curriculum and emphasizes both philosophy and education.
Parent & Child Programming
Calling all parents, grandparents and guardians: come make memories with your little one in our specially designed Parent and Child classes.
Preschool Sports & Recreation
Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about making the whole child, from the inside out.
The Y teens gain confidence and explore interests during programs such as the OASIS and more.
Youth Sports & Recreation
At the Y, recreational programming provides a healthy outlet for your child to gain new skills, foster a passion and connect with positive role models.
