We work every day to help them set and achieve personal and educational goals. At the Y, teens build skills and confidence as they explore new interests and passions.
Babysitting Training Course
This training course is for boys and girls, ages 10 - 14, and teaches the necessary skills for babysitting. The training includes topics in activities, nutrition, and first aid. Students will receive a certificate of completion after completing the entire course.

Any high school junior, senior or college student seeking a career working with youth can join the OASIS Interact Program. This program provides students with a valuable internship experience with the nation’s leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Interns will receive the following after completion:
- Official Certification confirming hours of completion
- 40+ hours of service
- A letter of recommendation from the Director of the Youth, Teen & Family Department and the Teen Outreach Coordinator

The Y welcomes middle and high school students from any district to stop by the OASIS after school.
Teen Leaders Club
The mission of the Team Leaders Club is for teens to learn the importance of serving their community while learning about leadership and having fun with peers. This club provides teens with the opportunity to strengthen the community by instilling the core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month beginning January 8. Sign up at the Registration Desk by Monday, January 7.

Youth and Government
The Youth and Government program consists of studying and practicing how public policy is made, empowering students to become critical, ethical leaders and citizens.

Volunteer With Us
The OASIS after school program heavily relies on the help of our volunteers. Volunteers can engage with students during the after-school program in a variety of ways including, assisting teens with crafts, homework, leading active games, serving a nutritious and hearty snack, cooking a warm snack or just merely lending a listening year.
