JANUARY, FOOD BANK
During January, the Y will be collecting non-perishable food for local Food Banks in Coraopolis, Leetsdale and Sewickley. Please consider donating canned or boxed items, juices, pasta, canned meats, sauces, or jelly.
FEBRUARY, ORAL HEALTH
In celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month, the Y will be collecting new toothbrushes and toothpaste for Center for Hope, located in Ambridge. The Center for Hope helps our Ambridge neighbors in need to break the bonds of poverty and lead independent lives.
MARCH, BLESSING BAGS
Girl Scout Troop 28857 is collecting travel-sized, new and/or sealed, and not expired toiletries for Blessing Bags that will be distributed to Men’s and Women’s shelters. Please consider donating, hand sanitizer, hand or body lotion, shampoo, body soap, or gallon size zip lock bags.
APRIL, CRAFT SUPPLIES
The Sewickley Valley YMCA will be collecting craft supplies for the local Libraries of Ambridge, Coraopolis, Moon and Sewickley. Please consider donating unused pom-poms, markers, crayons, popsicles sticks and construction paper.
MAY, SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM
The Free Summer Lunch program located in Leetsdale is in need of applesauce cups, granola bars, cereal, pudding cups, crackers and goldfish.
