NURTURE THE POTENTIAL OF EVERY CHILD
We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. At Sewickley Valley YMCA, we work to instill positive values, develop skills and relationships and build a foundation for youth to succeed.
Child Care & Educational Development
We help each child to reach his/her fullest potential through support and developmentally appropriate activities that establish a solid foundation for lifelong learning and healthy living.
Child Watch is a fun and safe place for children ages 2 months -7 years to enjoy while you participate in other activities at the Y. Child Watch is free with your family Y membership.
Family time at the Y is about giving families as a unit, and as individuals, the opportunities to deepen relationships, develop new skills and interests, improve their health and well-being, and connect to the community.
Free Summer Meals
During the summer children are at a higher risk of hunger. Free Summer Meals at the Sewickley Valley YMCA provides a free nutritious meal for area youth ages 18 and below. For more information contact Barb Herman at email@example.com or 412-741-9622 ext. 131.
The Sewickley Valley YMCA will be serving free lunches for youth and teens Monday - Friday from 1-3 p.m. in the OASIS Teen Center.
Oasis & Teen
The Y teens gain confidence and explore interests during programs such as the OASIS, leadership groups and Youth & Government.
Preschool Sports & Recreation
Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.
YMCA Swim Lessons help swimmers of all ages build confidence in the water, and develop swimming and water safety skills.
Swim team builds character, sportsmanship and appreciation of teamwork. Every team member is coached and mentored to be the best swimmer and teammate they can be.
Art class, Parents Night Out and Family Fun Night, there’s a lot more than sports at the Y.
Youth Sports & Recreation
Kids have the opportunity to be active, build confidence, learn new skills and make new friends while participating in programs at the Y.
