WELCOME TO STRONG
Six weeks, 20 minutes a day, five days a week! We’ll experiment with challenges and rhythms designed to open us up to a purpose-driven life that is STRONG. Take the Challenge, have some fun, and discover what it means to be STRONG.
The Sewickley Valley YMCA invites all in the community to participate in a free six-week STRONG challenge designed to help transform spirit, mind and body. This challenge provides an opportunity to get active and healthier by yourself or as a Strong family.
Opt-in to the free challenge by texting YSTRONG to 855.910.9341. Follow the prompts to sign-up and you will receive three texts a week filled with motivation, challenges, workouts and more.
Everyone in the community is also invited to workout wherever you are by taking advantage of free YMCA live Zoom online classes, outdoor activities like pop-up classes and nature walks and stay engaged by completing our weekly schedule to keep you designed to keep you on track. Non-members who are STRONG participants will also be able to attend the Y for one day each week to enjoy working out and a variety of classes.

New Virtual Site
Having a prominent place in the home to post your goals to see every day and track your progress will be key in these first days. Having an accountability buddy (an AccountabiliBuddy) or partner in the challenge will provide the motivation you need within your existing network.
