Staying cool matters. Visit the Y this week to beat the heat—free for all, no membership required

When Pittsburgh temperatures spike, not everyone has access to air conditioning. Heat-related illness is serious—especially for children, seniors, and people with certain health conditions.

That’s why the Sewickley Valley YMCA is opening our doors free of charge this week. If you need to cool off, we’re here. No membership. No barriers.

Who Can Come

Everyone. Your neighbor without AC. Seniors looking for a safe, comfortable space. Families with kids. You.

What You’ll Need

Adults: Bring a photo ID and check in at the registration desk.

Children 11 and under: Must come with an adult.
