Celebrate Thanksgiving with a healthy start by participating in the Sewickley Turkey Trot 5K. This annual event is perfect for runners, walkers, and families. The scenic 5K course winds through the streets of Sewickley, beginning and ending at War Memorial Park.
The Sewickley Turkey Trot is proudly organized by the Heritage Valley Health System Foundation and The Sewickley Valley YMCA. Your participation supports the Faith In Action program at the Sewickley YMCA, helping those in need in our community.

Sewickley 5k Turkey Trot Tips
- Register early! 2025 Turkey Trot T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by Friday, November 1. After that, shirts are available first come, first served while supplies last.
- Pick up your packet Wednesday! Avoid race-day lines and get your shirt and timing bib on Wednesday, November 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sewickley YMCA Community Activity Center.
- Bring the whole family! The Sewickley Turkey Trot isn’t just for serious runners—it’s a fun, feel-good event for all ages and abilities.
- Stick around at the finish line! Awards will be presented for the top three male and female finishers for ages 12 and up
