Senior Men's Club

The SMC is a vibrant community of retired individuals, who meet weekly at the Sewickley Valley YMCA. The group provides a welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds to come together, socialize, and engage in enriching programs and fellowship.

WEEKLY GATHERINGS

Join us every Friday morning. Year-round, the SMC meets every Friday morning, except for those preceding a national holiday. The atmosphere is filled with camaraderie as we kick off the day with social time from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones, all while enjoying coffee and donuts.

SPEAKER SERIES

The SMC continues to bring people together every Friday at the Sewickley Valley YMCA for engaging conversation and a strong lineup of guest speakers. Throughout the year, members hear presentations from community leaders, professionals and experts on timely and interesting topics. Scheduled speakers start at 10:00 a.m. until the meeting concludes at 11:00 a.m.

The club also believes in giving back. To show appreciation to the Sewickley Valley YMCA for providing a place to host weekly meetings, SMC recently made its annual gift to the Y’s Annual Giving Campaign, helping provide scholarships so children in our community can attend YMCA Summer Day Camp. The YMCA is grateful to the members of SMC for their generosity and commitment to helping more children experience the friendships, confidence and fun of summer at the Y.
