Volunteer Opportunities at The Y
Help ensure your neighbors in need receive nourishing food by volunteering at our monthly food distribution by packing food boxes or delivering food to local families in need.
Help restock one of our six Free Mini Pantries with non-perishable food and personal care products. The Free Mini Pantries offer a zero-barrier access point to food to help fill the gaps in the food system.
As a mentor in our OASIS Teen Center, you can provide encouragement and guidance to teens who need support or have similar interests as you.
Volunteer as a coach for Flag Football, Youth Basketball League, Youth Swim Team and teach children skills related to the sport, keep team practices and games organized and build character.
Join us for special one-day events throughout the year. Help direct traffic at our Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, lend a hand at our Christmas Angel Tree program, plant a flower bed, help out during Healthy Kids Day and much more.
Faith in Action is a free community outreach program of the Sewickley YMCA that provides the elderly with volunteer drivers to help them remain independent and a vital part of their community by providing transportation to doctor appointments and medical treatments.
